Why?
At the heart of this message lies a question that echoes through every human heart: Why are we here? This exploration takes us deep into Isaiah 43:7, where we discover that we are created specifically for God's glory. But what does it mean to glorify God? It's not just about singing praise songs on Sunday mornings. To glorify God means to live in such a way that everything we do brings honor and attention to His name. Think about your own last name and how your actions reflect on your family. Now magnify that concept infinitely—we carry God's name into every workplace, every relationship, every decision. The message challenges us to examine whether God truly comes first in our daily activities, from our work to our exercise routines to our entertainment choices. Drawing from Colossians 1:15-18, we're reminded that Jesus created all things and holds first place in everything. This isn't a burden but a beautiful design. When we align our lives with these three core purposes—glorifying God and enjoying Him, being active members of Christ's body, and reaching out to the lost—we find the fulfillment that relationships, possessions, and experiences alone can never provide. We're standing on the shoulders of faithful believers who came before us, and we're called to live intentionally rather than aimlessly, making God proud in everything we do.
